APPLICATION DEADLINES & PROCEDURES
The Piatt County Mental Health Board’s (708 MHBPC) is accepting online applications from June 1 - July 5, 2026 for FY 2027 starting December 1, 2026. Funding requests are encouraged from any eligible agency providing mental health, substance use disorder, and/or intellectual and developmental disability services/programs.

Our mission is to provide access to comprehensive, community-based services in an efficient and effective manner to all residents of Piatt County with mental illness, substance misuse, and developmental/intellectual disabilities. The 708 MHBPC follows the Piatt County Board’s fiscal year, December 1 - November 30. The 708 MHBPC was established by voter referendum on November 5, 2024.

AGENCY ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Individuals and families served with Mental Health Board funds must be Piatt County residents.

Agency must be a governmental unit or not-for-profit with IRS 501(c)(3) status.

Services/programs must be delivered either free of charge or using an acceptable sliding fee scale.

CONTRACTUAL & REPORTING REQUIREMENTS

A mutually agreed upon contract between the agency and the 708 MHBPC must be negotiated and approved prior to distributing an award.

Agencies will abide by 708 MHBPC general funding guidelines (to be provided with contractual agreement).

Quarterly reports and periodic site visits will be required in accordance with the contractual agreement and general funding guidelines.

APPLICATION DEADLINES AND PROCEDURES
Funding requests are encouraged from any eligible agency providing mental health, substance use disorder, and/or developmental/intellectual disability services. We are accepting applications for FY 2027 funding starting June 1, 2026 and must be submitted by July 5, 2026 at mschroeder@dewittpiatthealth.com or postmarked by July 5, 2026 to:
